Yellow alert Second highest state of readiness on a Federation starship. Yellow Alert may include raising the shields, and usually tells the crew to be prepared for combat or another critical situation (generic).

Yoshimitsu computer Type of computer manufactured in the early 22nd century (TNG: "Up the Long Ladder"). 
The Mariposa carried a number of these computers in 2123. Yoshimitsu is most likely just the name of the manufacturer. Yoshimitsu was a Japanese shogun, and later became the name of a character in Tekken (a few years after the Trek episode). It purportedly translates as "good fortune light".
