The BoP is included here only in case someone should miss it. It is not a regular starship of the Ferengi.
The episode "Rascals", in which the two Ferengi-owned Birds-of-Prey appear, leaves out no opportunity to annoy the viewers. The script calls for allegedly smaller and weaker Birds-of-Prey (to explain how the Ferengi could purchase them), but actually shows stock footage of the large BoPs from TNG: "Yesterday's Enterprise". Even worse, these outdated ships, manned with a bunch of intellectually challenged Ferengi, overpower the mighty Enterprise-D and crew with ease. This is the single most stupid enemy takeover in the history of the franchise!
DaiMon Bok's probe from TNG: "Bloodlines" is stock footage of the Angosian escape pod, only colored brownish.
We don't know if it is a standard Ferengi probe, although this seems very likely, considering that it accomplishes nothing more than relaying holographic messages to Picard.
The model also appears as an Yridian freight container in TNG: "Firstborn", but is not listed in this database.
The Marauder of the D'Kora class, designed by Andrew Probert, first appeared in TNG: "The Last Outpost".
Probert intended the vessel to have an extendable neck and weapon platforms. The ship actually changed into this this configuration in "The Last Outpost". The model was not only tilted to suggest that the neck was extended. The weapon platforms definitely pop out in the episode, and they match the configuration as it can be seen on the studio miniature. In all later appearances the D'Kora remained in the standard configuration. Probert explains the extended configuration as a posture of surrender.
There was supposedly an auxiliary craft like a captain's yacht embedded into the Marauder's ventral hull too, which never saw action.
As it is probably with Romulan Warbirds too, the term "Marauder" may be a collective name for large Ferengi starship types (if there are any more). D'Kora (so called in TNG: "Force of Nature" where the crew complement of 450 was mentioned too) denotes a specific class.
The early ship from ENT: "Acquisition" has some reasonable retro-engineering and already sports elements of the later crab-like structure and the flat bottom of the D'Kora and the shuttles. This ship, with its configuration and technology, should have allowed Starfleet to identify the Ferengi in later encounters, most notably the Battle of Maxia, but the writers want to make us believe that the Ferengi will stay completely out of Starfleet's way and will remain a total mystery for over 200 years.
There is no way that "Quark's Treasure" as seen in DS9: "Little Green Men" and other DS9 shuttles could be the same size as the standard Ferengi shuttlepod of 6m from TNG: "The Price". Quark's ship had a real bridge and not only a small cockpit, and there was supposed to be a cargo bay at the rear end, plus sleeping quarters, as one U.S. Air Force officer said. Also, Quark himself stated in the beginning of the episode that he would need a large ship. We get the impression that the ship is considerably larger than a jeep when it is hovering above Hangar 18. Its absolute minimum length is 11m, and evidence from other episodes puts at to about 18m. The only significant difference to the small shuttle on the outside is the additional pod. Much more evidence in an extensive article.
